The construction site at Jarrett Bay Boat Works is located on the ICW
at Adams Creek, North Carolina. We frequently stop there for fuel
since it is about halfway between Florida and southern New England.

After watching the video you get an appreciation for how much work
goes into building a boat of this size.

Very nice, thanks for posting.

I looked around a bit, but couldn't find the cost for that boat. I'm guessing a million plus?

Probably between 2 and 3 million by the time you get it fully equipped
and ready to roll. Custom boats are very labor intensive since there
are no existing molds to start from and everything is hand fitted.

I've got a buddy that enjoys keeping up with these kinds of boats, even though they are far out of his reach. I mentioned this video to him, and he was already very aware of it. He's toured the Jarret Bay facility, and has seen the process first hand.

His estimate was in the $5 million plus range.
