Try unscrewing the carburetor bowl drain plug and squirting in some
Gum Out (carb cleaner). Squirt in as much as you can and quickly
reinsert the drain plug. If the float valve is stuck that is
sometimes enough to get things going again.

Before that, squirt a bit of fuel into the carb and crank it over. If
the engine will run while you squirt fuel into the carb, then you know
you've got a clogged up carb problem. Otherwise move on to checking
the electrical system.
