My guzzi ambassador wasn't the fastest thing in the world WOT was in the Low 70mph. I haven't researched it but I'm thinking it had side hack gearing. The claim is that the top end was normally in the high 90mph range. It didn't matter to me. When I'd hit the 4 lane I'd WOT and let it hammer away, usually and according to the veglia speedo, about 73 was the top mph.
