The Bible does not state every spoken word that Christ ever taught or

Jesus said that since the beginning of creation, God created them male
and female in order that they would be joined together and become one
flesh. He adds, "Therefore what God has joined together, let not man
separate" (Mark 10:9). Marriage between a man and a woman is God's plan
since creation. No matter how many laws are passed in favor of
gay-marriage, it will not change God's mind. Man often rebels against
God; this is nothing new.

Like many writings the Bible is subject to interpretation and different
people may take different interpretations from the written word. I think
Christ was quite clear when he said, God created them male and female in
order that they would be joined together and become one flesh.

Others may take a different opinion on the writings.

Your quote about "joining" in marriage refers to quotes attributed to
Jesus lifted from Moses regarding divorce, and has nothing to do with
homosexuality.

I'm not sure how much credence should be given to the accepted gospels,
since they were assemblies of folk tales not written down until long
after the death of Jesus, and then "adjusted" for conformity and other
reasons hundreds of years later.

I'm not sure how much credence should be given to Harry Krause. Based
on what we know about him, probably not very much.

I give FOAD high credit here, he has come to a position of non
believing through some study of the Bible. I, on the other hand know
very little about the Bible but am a non believer because I think it is
a bunch of people believing in magic.
Mr. Krause and I have found agreement, I couldn't care less what the
Bible says about homosexuality. I don't care who sleeps with whom, but I
am growing weary of the loud, in your face, flaunting of their position.
I do have respect for the Judeo-Christian morals that were used in the
formation of this country. With the form of government created, and a
population of just 4 million people, in just 150 years of existence the
US became the most powerful economic and military power on earth. If
there was ever a miracle, that was it.

Don't care to hear about the formation of our government and slavery,
societies change slowly, 84 years is a long time, but not so long for a
change that was such a major part of Southern commerce.
