Default Canadian Miner- Indiana Harbor 12-4-1998

Because of finding considerably more toxic materials aboard the ship
than the RFP described the last firm contracted backed out of the
project. A second company has taken over but costs are very high. The
federal government is unwilling to help the province with the clean-up.
An article on the current state.

This ship has been aground on the coast of Nova Scotia since September
2011. They were working on scrapping her in place last year, but I
don't recall hearing that they had finished the job.

The wiki article covers the high points.
