Fortunately, although getting long in the tooth, I am apparently healthy
overall. I haven't shoveled and dealt with so much snow and ice in
many moons and so far the ticker keeps ticking.

We are less than 10 inches away from the most snowfall in a winter since
records starting being kept 130 years ago. What makes it worse is that
all but 5.5 inches have fallen in the month of February. More tonight
and the possibility of another major storm on Wednesday. I have a
feeling the trend is changing though. I think (or am at least hopeful)
that the storm on Wednesday will end up going out to sea"

Just came downstairs after a session of reaching out a 2nd story
window to clear snow/ice from the roof of the addition We put on in
2002/03 for mom.
I had gone out and brought the round mouth shovel ( that's creating
such a stir in JohnnyMop and his raggedy little band of moppetts) into
the house to increase my reach. Expecting rain and then another flash
freeze tomorrow.
When will it ever end?

Is it really round nosed or is it what is called a garden spade?

If it's round he probably isn't taking care of it right Either way, I
will get in on this, we had to do our roof yesterday, it wasn't so bad.
I have a small snow blower we lift right up there and that helps a lot.
Still don't shovel our driveway though, folks complain but hey, they
don't live here and I got a 4x4 with moderately aggressive tires so I
just blast through
