Heard this morning that as of January 23rd, the official snowfall in
Boston and surrounding areas had only been 5.5 inches.

Since then over 58 inches have fallen. Getting stupid. This amount of
snow is great for unpopulated ski locations but towns and cities
have run out of places to put the crap.

Going to have another cup of coffee and then go hit the driveway again
for about the 10th time in the past 2-3 weeks. Same problem. No place
to push it. I am really regretting that I got rid of the big snowblower
attachment I had for the tractor at one time but it was a rip roaring
pain in the ass to take off the front end loader in order to put the
snow blower on.

Just tried doing the driveway. Whatever the plow pushes to the side
just rolls back into the driveway as I pass by. If I could do about 80
mph down the driveway it might work but it's going to be tractor time
again later. Ridiculous.

Weymouth, a town about 15 miles north of us towards Boston has had
20 inches of additional snow since 8 pm last night.

I think I see Florida in your future. :-)

We were feeling about the same way 11 years ago when we had several
back-to-back bad winters in the NYC area although nothing like what
you are experiencing.

There's some nice horse country not too far from the eagle cam and
there are also some nice spots up there along the river - you might be
able to do horsing and boating from the same house.

That would be perfect. First, have to sell this place. I don't want
a situation like we had before where we had a place (actually two
places) in Florida while still having this house.

It will sell eventually. We are going to take it off the market
temporarily and then put it back on at a lower price sometime in
April-May. It makes no sense to be advertising it right now and having
tire kickers wanting to have showings every weekend. We do have a
couple of potential buyers who are somewhat serious and are researching
financing options and checking codes for additional horses. Good luck
to them.

It's a buyer's market for properties in this price range.
