An educated guess since she is a stranger to this region -
Up from the LA area where most commercial craft are built and
overhauled these days . She headed up river after she exited the Canal
perhaps with specialty parts for one of the dredges we have working,
deepening the Delaware River .
Crew on board are trained for their task and the boat can tie right up
to the vessel they are working on with the tires as bumpers .
Where ever she was going , we can assume that it was cheaper to send
her here than send the broken vessel down south .
However , sending her up here is still costing someone a " pretty
penny ".
