Default rafting knives

Stick with a basic gerber knife that is secure yet not too hard to access.
Most people only will use it to cut food, but the one time you need it,
you'll be glad you have a easy accessible river knife.
check out mec.ca, they have some good prices on gerbers.

The only thing I've ever used the knife for is to cut cheese & sausage.
Many rafters I know like something with plyers built in (e.g. the
Gerber or Leatherman).
