Alabama Lawmaker Will Expose Marital Affairs Of ‘Family Values’
Republicans If They Keep Attacking Gays

A gay Alabama state representative is warning her Republican colleagues
to stop attacking the LGBT community if they don’t want her to reveal
their dirty little secrets.

Patricia Todd made the threat on Facebook after she could no longer
tolerate the anti-gay hatred coming out of the mouths of her fellow
lawmakers in the statehouse. As leverage, Todd wrote that she intends to
name which “family values” Republicans have or are committing adultery
against their spouses in their heterosexual marriages.

“I will not stand by and allow legislators to talk about ‘family values’
when they have affairs, and I know of many who are and have,” she
declared. “I will call our elected officials who want to hide in the
closet out.”

Todd decided she had had enough of the anti-gay rhetoric from her GOP
colleagues in the wake of a federal judge striking down Alabama’s
same-sex marriage ban. She added to her words during an interview with
the Huffington Post, in which she further blasted so-called “family
values” Republicans for their hypocrisy.

“If certain people come out and start espousing this rhetoric about
family values, then I will say, ‘Let’s talk about family values, because
here’s what I heard.’ I don’t have direct knowledge, because obviously
I’m not the other person involved in the affair. But one thing you would
never hear about me is that I ever cheated on a partner or had an affair.”
