As soon as they figure it out, it will be on the form.


I think it should be up to the states to set up an exchange to handle
these transactions. It would be a pain in the ass for individuals
nationally to be messing with it, as it would be for small businesses to
collect and forward sales taxes for and to every state.

In Florida, this only applies to businesses that have a physical
presence in the state. When Amazon started setting up distribution
hubs here, they started collecting the tax and flowing the revenue
through those operations.


It makes sense to set up an exchange that leaves individuals out of it.


I guess the question might be, who runs that exchange. How do they
enforce participation?



What's the alternative? 300 million individuals keeping track of their
purchases?
