That does sound reasonable. I think if I was going to get a can for my
Ruger I would just buy another (threaded) barrel. You can get one for
about the same money the last time I looked.
I imagine my buddy Henk could thread a barrel tho. He has a real nice
lathe with the thread cutting adapter. I just have not seen the need.
Rumor has it, a 2 liter pop bottle works pretty well ... but that
would be wrong ;-)
You can get a barrel for that but getting it in and out of the upper
receiver is a bitch.
I just shoot pop bottles. Dunno how to screw one onto a barrel.
