Or for absolutely free you can get "Dropbox" software and securely
share anything you'd like without a web site.

I saw Larry Ellison on TV one day saying if you are not paying for a
product, you are the product.
It makes you wonder what Drop Box is doing with your data ... or is it
just another one of those sites jammed with ads?

I don't know what the Dropbox business model is but a lot of people
are using it. I've had no issues and have been told that lawyers are
using it to send confidential documents back and forth to clients.

Dropbox has had it's share of reported security vulnerabilities over the
years and has been criticized for not taking action to correct them.
Still, there hasn't been a report of a major hack of it's stored data.

One thing to remember using it. Once you put something in Dropbox, it
stays in Dropbox, even if you delete it.

The way I look at Dropbox or any "Cloud" storage ... once you've
published anything it's there for the world to potentially see. (That's
even true of posts to rec.boats) The security is really in the shear
volume of data transmitted on the Internet everyday. Unless someone is
specifically looking for you, it would be difficult to raise any flags.

If the NSA or the Pentagon can be hacked, Dropbox can be hacked.

I don't disagree with any of that but for casual posting of
non-sensitive pictures, I still stand by my recommendation.
