It's hilarious that union employees (not members) were *not* among the list of hard working folks. They make their money fleecing the working union folks. Notice, not the "hard working" union folk, though. :-)

No mention of law enforcement officers either. They have one of the
toughest, dangerous and thankless jobs of all.
Absolutely. Nearly 20 years ago, while installing some equipment at a CHP office, the state engineer and I signed a waiver and went for a ride-along with a CHP officer. Very interesting. The traffic stop he did at dusk was an eye opener. He stood at the rear tire and tried to look into the car without walking up beside the driver's window before he finally approached. They never know just what's waiting for them.
One of my brothers was a city cop in Richland, WA. I'd ride with him
when visiting. When he made a stop, he'd have me stand at the rear of
the stopped vehicle, not do anything, just stand there. His reason was
that it gave the stopped driver something to wonder about, not knowing
if I was armed or not.
I could imagine him being alone, doing the same thing, and not knowing
what was in the hands of the driver of the stopped car. Scary.
