Understood Wayne. The guys boat is a Mako 284C. Which out to do the job unless you snag some monster Marlin. Lol!

On the right day you could probably even catch the monster Marlin but
what happens after that could be interesting. One unusual experience
last week was when one of our guys hooked a good sized grouper and was
struggling to get the fish up. After fighting it for about 5 minutes
the line suddenly went slack. When he reeled in, all that was left
was a huge grouper head on the line. Apparently a large shark had
taken the rest in one bite. The same thing can happen with any large
fish that you have to fight for a while.
The guys I know who go offshore say the Jewfish are getting to be a
problem. It is hard to actually boat a fish before a Jewfish takes it.

They just need to use a larger hook and heavier tackle.
