I have a fastener company about 4 blocks from my house, they carry a
very wide range of nuts, bolts, screws, and washers. They have
stainless, zinc, iron and some aluminum fasteners from 4-40 to 3/4" and
metric sizes to. Very convenient and, over the years I have bought
enough that if I only need 5 or 10 pieces they just give them to me.
Every couple visits I'll throw coffee money on the counter. They are
nice guys at the counter, always try to solve my fastener problem.

That would be nice!

I can usually get what I need at Lowes, HD or West Marine. For
everything else I've got Ace Hardware, Family Hardware, or Fastenal.
For unusual marine fastenings, Jamestown Distributors is pretty good.
