The good news is, I got my cast off today, and was fitted for a much
smaller cast that mostly supports my thumb and the pieces and
parts of
it that are subrosa, as it were.
OMG. For playing such a tough guy on the internet, you don't know to
*never* tuck your thumb inside your fingers when making a fist?
You'll
break your thumb every time.
You ball your fingers into a tight fist, and tuck your thumb
*outside* the fingers tightly.
I guess they don't teach that in liberal arts skewl. Make a note
of it. :-)
Another informationless moron. I didn't break my thumb and I didn't
say I
did. Yet another reason to not take rec.boats seriously.

Supports your thumb and its pieces and parts. Uh huh.
Oh, and the only thing sub rosa is how you actually broke your hand.
That's a secret, eh? :-
Sprains there, according to my doctor and occupational therapist. Bone
fracture on other side at wrist healing nicely. No secret...I hit a guy
*really hard*. Got almost full movement back outside of soft cast. My
doc wonders if I broke the other guy's jaw. Dunno.
Telling lies over and over does not make them true
You were playing with your new I phone and tripped over a curb. You
were trying to protect that flimsy thing when you hit the ground and
sacrificed your wrist.
I am sure a bit of osteoporosis contributed. It is common in old women
and men with low T.
Wow...*distant* medical diagnosis from a high school grad who fixed
electrical stuff and looks like a refugee from Duck Dynasty.
Doubt if he could make the diagnosis but it's safe to say he read about
your plight when you made inquiry's on that medical forum to the
osteopenia thread. There were several markers that positively identified
you. So spin away.
Yup.
