I am not sure I agree that this was 1st degree murder but murder 2 is
life too so it is a distinction without a difference.

In real life, the 60 years he got for the guys he shot at and missed
is life for a guy that age.
They could have sentenced him to 20 for each one of those because of
the 10-20-life law.

So, at least in this case, having your ears "attacked" by loud music you
do not like is not justification for shooting and killing a black kid in
Florida.

I said this sounds like second degree murder.

1st degree murder implies this guy had premeditation. It certainly
sounds like simple rage.

My comment was aimed at Florida's stand your ground law, not at you. Did
you see your name in my response?
