China has just overtaken the USA as having the world's largest economy
according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF). This transition was
predicted by the IMF last April and was generally unexpected and a
surprise to many who were under the impression that it would not happen
so soon.

The IMF forecasts that the gap will continue to expand throughout the
rest of 2014 and 2015.

What does this mean? Beats me.
