bit however.
That is typically not paper target shooting, it is steel "knock
down/spin around" targets and it is usually a "combat course" (or
hunting type shooting with rifles), simulating shooting some kind of
flesh.
Most (pistol) paper target shooting is done with low powered center
fire ammo or the trusty old .22rf.
I shoot paper targets, steel targets, 2 liter soda pop bottles, et
cetera, with my revolver. I had no idea you and w'hine were the arbiters
of what is and is not target shooting. Targets are targets.
Oh, wait...*you* think combat course shooting at targets is not target
shooting.
That's a giggle.
None of those targets require a 357 or 45 round to produce a noise,
movement or damage. BTW, In the military it's called target practice.
