The thief was in my garage, loading up his car with my stuff. When I
clicked on the opener in my truck, the garage door opened and the thief
crossed from the passenger side of his car and over to the driver side
of my truck. I drove straight forward and pinned him.
Do you need a diagram?

The part of that whole story I find believable is that Harry was in his driveway and opened the
garage door.
