Klepper as airline baggage
We have a very old Keppler 2 seater (~40 years) that is on its last
legs. For years, we have been taking it to Hawaii with us as checked
baggage. With the new regs (or the enforcement of the existing ones -
either way I don't fly if I don't have to anymore), the long peices
are too long and the threatened surcharge pretty much kills the idea.
I believe it will meet the airlines rules if the ribs and paddles are
all cut in half. I have some ideas that might work, but I was
wondering if anyone has actually done it.
