many of the caoes are not Canadian. K Wipper(?) who put so much into
building the collection privtely collected canoes from all over the globe.

I am not in a position to compare statistics with you, but one of my
observations about the holdings of the museum, at least those that
were on display in January, was that there were very few canoes built
