Are you sure? TSP is some nasty stuff. It will etch and degloss paint.
Not the kind of stuff you want to be dripping over the sides of an RV
while washing the roof.
Well, I am not sure who reads and doesn't read my stuff here but I will
talk to "Washing" vehicles, especially in the sunshine. In order to
avoid etching or staining, bleaching, etc be sure to always keep the
surface wet. Start by wetting then washing from the bottom up so soap or
even water is never running over dry surface. Even plain water runs on a
dry surface plus a bit of sunshine can cause streaks (especially on dark
colors) so always rinse from the top down, blah, blah, blah. On a big
surface like a camper roof I might also keep someone on the ground with
a hose making sure any surfaces where the compound runs off the roof
down the side of the vehicle, stays wet and rinsed.. Especially if it's
exposed to direct sunlight at the time. Even better is to wash on a
cloudy day... Later
It's done. 6AM, Murphy's OIl Soap from WalMart at $3.48 which works, diluted, as well as the full
strength $12/quart stuff from Camco.
Done in the dark?
