The way it works here is that you have to make friends with the
manager of the ammo department. If he's so inclined, he can tell you
when the next shipment is going to be brought out and what is in it.
At our local store that is typically 7:00 AM on Thursdays. Guys
start lining up about 5:30 or so and most of the ammo is sold right
off the cart before it gets to the shelf.
Hoarding ammo is one way to solve the problem, voting republican is

Surely you wouldn't call the accumulation of a measly 5000 rounds 'hoarding'!
As it was all purchased long before you right-wing trashmeisters began
hoarding, it wasn't and isn't hoarding. I paid less than $5 for a box of
100 rounds. I see them selling for $20 to $30 for the same box. I'll be
glad to sell a few boxes to you at, say, $50 a box.
