That's absolutely true of course, but Harry is what he is and nothing

After watching more than a few of these exchanges on rec.boats over

It is fun sometimes however to see how creatively he can rope-a-dope.

The usual smug republicans in denial. Nothing else is new.

Rope-a-Dope !

Please. In the last few days, *your* political party nationally and in
various states has taken measures to restrict voting, to not extend
unemployment compensation, to deny equal pay for equal work, and in the
Ryan budget that passed the House today, further slice what remains of
the social safety network in order to give more tax breaks to the
wealthy. All of those moves, every one of them, impact the poor and
minorities negatively. Smug Republicans in denial.

Why should we extend unemployment? Isn't two years enough for someone to
learn a new job? Why not restrict voting to those legal to vote in an
election. Person moved 2 years ago, to another district, why should it not
be questioned when he wants to vote in a local election? An local election
that does not concern them. Why should a person in Chicago or anyplace
else get to vote each year for 75 years after they died? We, as a nation
are broke! Why should we not change welfare, when it seems to not improved
the nation in 75 years? When we are on the 6 or 7th generation of welfare
family, even a concrete brain like yours has to admit, IT AIN'T WORKING.
The poor pay no IRS taxes! why give them a break? Look at dividend income
from 2014 on. Max tax rate from IRS, 35%. But that money was already
taxed at 38% corporate tax rate. Seems as if removes incentive to invest
for long term, or even to pay dividends. Kills those 401K and pension
funds even more. Why are we borrowing 47cents of every dollar the Federal
Government spends. Seems even worse since the modern Dem's are in control
of the Executive branch. We better change something, as what we are doing
now AIN'T work'n.

Regarding voting, why would we want someone that does not have the
ability to figure out how to get valid Identification go into a voting
booth and pick the person responsible for the nation, no matter what
party they would vote for.
