Have you tried a search on "Google" or one of the other search engines,
should be able to find the complete spec for the radio.

Yes, hence the post,

the website I was buying it from only had a small para on specs, i.e. USA/Ca
and International channels
but didnt mention M2 - 161.425

these are the only details I can find:

Hi MH

Try this site http://www.humminbird.com/images/PDF/vhf5.pdf it is the users
manual.

At the very end it lists all the channels, you will need Adobe reader as it
is a PDF file

Yes Dave, I downloaded and read the PDF and page 16 says the channels but
not the freqs

M2 is 161.425 what channel is that according to page 16's list?

M2 is not an International channel. It is a private channel allocated for
sailing clubs in the UK.
