Help with yamaha outboard
 

Hi. I'm english but live in Philippines where even yamaha dealers sell fake
chinese parts and know nothing about their products! I need to service an
outboard I recently inherited but dont know what year etc. Can anyone help
please.

Model yamaha 40FE

Serial plate no. SE9 L406142.

I hoping to be able to buy a service manual for it when I know what it is.
I'm a dive instructor (PADI) so will offer reduced rate instruction to
anyone from this group who finds themselves in Manila! I might insist you
service the outboard though!
