Please note, there has been some discussion about changing the groups
name to uk.rec.boats.motor to more accurately reflect the intended
audience. u.r.b.power seems to put people off as they think the group is
for discussion of high performance boats. This was never its intention.
Comments would be appreciated to nick(at)noslow.org.uk as if I start the
process going, UK Usenet will ask for readers input and if anyone
disagrees it has to go to a vote...

Charter of uk.rec.boats.power
(Not Moderated)
uk.rec.boats.power will discuss power boating in UK waters and the
activities of UK powerboaters elsewhere. Power boat sports (eg racing,
water skiing and jetskiing) are valid topics except where covered by
a more specific group.

Advertising
Short (up to 10 lines) private advertisements are welcome but must not
exceed one advert per week per poster/subject. Commercial advertisers
may post a pointer to their website or invitation to request information
including an email address for personal correspondence. This may not
exceed four lines and may be posted no more often than once every month.
The subject line for all adverts (private or commercial) should begin
"AD:", "FS:" or "WTB:" as appropriate.

Binaries
With the exception of PGP signatures, all encoded binaries (eg pictures,
word processor files, .zip files etc), HTML, or similar non-plaintext
postings are forbidden.

Moderation
The group will not be moderated.
