Conditions are highly variable, so it could be an easy pootle on a
benign day and verging on suicide on others.

Get a tidal atlas to see what the tides will be doing when, and keep an
eye on the weather. Tides are more a matter of /when/ than if they're
spring or neap, and the atlas will tell you which way they go at ebb and
flow, and how fast.

If you'll be doing much on the west coast you /need/ good tidal
information. It can get quite... "exciting" to be in the wrong place at
the wrong time.

Pete.

Got the atlas, used it for quite some planning in the area - I just
don't feel like rounding Neist (H3/4), without asking a bit around -
slack I don't worry too much about.
