Reccomendations for rivers in Western MA, VT, or NY area
 

I have been on the Saco river in ME/NH and it was a blast. I'm looking
for something simular in the western MA or soutern VT area. Looking
for an over night trip in which we can camp on the side of the river
without any problems. Also, on the Saco, there are a lot of young
people and no one care if you drink a few beers while on the river.
Any other river like this a little more west? Please post your
suggestions.
