Default sea kayak help

My parents are retiring to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico this summer and will
be living right on the ocean. They are 65 and 70 and are in reasonably
good physical condition from biking and walking daily. They have
expressed interest in getting a sea kayak or two and I would like to
help them research which one would be best for them. I think they
would use it most for excercise and short trips up and down the coast
(1 or 2 hours long). Another use would come from their three sons and
their wives using them while visiting them. They would use them for
longer trips, maybe skin/scuba diving off of them. I know this is a
tall order for a single boat. I have seen the Hobie foot-powered
kayaks and they seem to have mostly favorable comments. It think a
sit-on-top is a requirement. They have people to help them move the
kayaks from storage to the beach. Any help and recommendations would
be welcome. rick
