Actually, I DO paddle in a desert once or twice a year. The Grand Canyon is
a desert, isn't it?

Hi, Jim, how about the High Desert of Central Oregon, plenty of
paddling their, Deschutes River, well known for paddling and many
lakes etc., eh?
