We are considering a float (canoe) trip on the Noatak river next
summer. Does anyone have recent experience with this trip, in
particular time of year, where to rent canoes and air taxi in and out
of the river?

Seems that many pointers are to Kotzebue outfitters, but you should compare
services, experiences, cost with outfitters in the interior like Sourdough
Outfitters in Bettles.
