I'm not a Pennsylvania resident, and tried to launch in the
Susquehanna from the East side Fort Hunter ramp last week, until I read the billboard of regulations, some of which specified that even non-powered boats that don't normally need to be registered were required to be registered to use that ramp. I looked for another launch site but missed a major turn and decided to forget it that day. I'm headed back through there next week, and would like to find a ramp or other launch spot, not too far from I-81, that doesn't require trying to find the Pennsylvania Dept of Natural Resources first. Thanks in advance, Mike Soja |
