I want head into the BWCA north of our new home in the Twin Cities. I
have 8 year old and 13 year sons and figured it was better to be a bit
cool than have a gazillion bugs their first time wilderness camping. I
want to heighten their interest for a return in '04.

Any advice on an easy 3-4 day route for novice paddlers? I was
thinking of Island River or Isabella River. Perhaps Lake Kawishiwi.
