FS: Part built Stitch&Glue Kayak, W. Oregon

For sale in Corvallis, OR:
Partially built Stitch and Glue Kayak
Asking $100 OBO.

This project was about 1/3 completed about 10 years ago and has been
in the attic since then. It is based on an article in Sea Kayaker
magazine from Winter 1991. The boat is a "Yare 16" 16+ feet, 31
pounds - very light for a sea kayak. The designer says the total
build time is about 35 hours, though I am guessing it actually takes
longer for a beginner. I didn't do the building thus far - it was my
brother's project - but an experienced builder told me it looks like
good quality work

I believe all the required pieces are with it. The two side panels
are completed, and there is an unused 4x8 sheet of mahogany plywood,
as well as a couple 2 x 8 sheets of plywood. It includes the plans as
purchased from the designer. Materials plus plans originally cost
about $250 - $300.
