Paddling around Marathon, FL
 

I plan to spend 5-6 days starting on Independence Day centered near Marathon
in the Keys. I ahve looked at Foster's Guide toSK'g in S.FL and Wachop's
SK'g in the FL Keys.
Any suggestions? I will take tthe Sirocco and maybe the Libra XT for a
friend that lives down there. I have paddled North FL: Suwanee, Fargo to
Suwanee Park[portaged Big Shoals], Apalachicola Bay, camping on Little St.
George [though I will motel it in the Keys at this time of year] and locally
Crystal River, etc.
Aside from hurricanes, alligators, noseeums and other 6-legged critters any
cautions?
