Three ships
Excuse me blowing in from a Shakespeare newsgroup. Can anyone identify ships
of the Elizabethan period called 1) "Lion" or "Lyon", 2) "Tiger" or "Tyger", 3) "Phoenix", possibly "Phenix", or even "Phaenix". They might be warships or they might be private vessels, possibly used for exploration in the Americas. Thanks in advance. Buffalo |
Sorry - can't realy help. But the Natinal Maritime Museum at Greenwich
might be able to help. Also try the Historic Vessels and other similar mailing lists via http://chrisbrady.itgo.com/tallship/forums.htm CJB. "Buffalo" wrote in message ...
