There's no way I could pick a favorite or even a top ten of my favorite
ship images. The Cutty Sark and the Thermopylae are in my opinion two of the finest examples of tall ships. A painting with both would naturally be near the top of any list I would make. I suspect many of you have a much larger collection of ships, tall or short, than I have. How about sharing a few of your own personal favorites with the group. Tall, short, or somewhere in between. Beautiful painting, scanned by Charles Perrien, the whole series is 115 paintings. I suspect many of you have a much larger collection of ships, tall or short, than I have. Let me think on it, its difficult to find a favorite in my large collection. -- Greetings Bouler (The Netherlands) |

I will check around my files and see what I can come up with. It is a worthy venture. |

I have a small collection of old tall ship vintage photos, of which I share
online via an art community. I'm a newbie to this group though. But my grandad used to collect all sorts of marine art and antiques, so I guess you could say I group up with the old tall ship.
