Thanks Bouler.

I have the full rapport over the event, here is a summing-up what happened.

The Zhen Hua 10 sailing under the St. Vincent & The Grenadines Flag, arrived
at Rotterdam on 1 February 2008 around 9 am.

At this time there was a wind force of 7 Beaufort. Because of the wind catch
of the hi deck cargo, Hua 10 has a wind restriction of maximum 7 Beaufort,
this means Hua 10 was not allowed to enter the port of Rotterdam.

The captain decide to anchor the vessel, he choose to anchor the ship on the
eastside of the anchor ground, as there are other vessels already on the
west side (further away from the shore) to avoid a collision if the anchor
would not hold.

At midnight the anchors and engine on full power could not hold the ship in
place. The western winds where increased to 9 Beaufort, with gust to 11
Beaufort.

The captain informed the harbour authorities and request a tug boat. (look
at the original map for a kept up log from the crew, until she stranded)

In the night of 5 February tugboats from Smit released the vessel, and
moored in the port of Rotterdam.

Ms Zhen Hua 10 is build in 1981 as a oil tanker, in 2005 she was converted
to transport container cranes. The engine and anchors where not changed!!!.

It is possible that she and similar ships will not be allowed to transport
cranes in the future.
