A selection of vessels shot in Den Helder

The PD 43 (a Boomkorkotter, don't know the translation of that one)is shot returing to port, probably to offload their catch.

The Nestor is a sport fishing vessel, on which groups of people sail out to the North Sea for fishing. They mostly end up either drunk, or seasick... ;)

The Boeier is a smaller fishing vessel, i think a Euro-kotter.

The HD 16 is a smaller fishing vessel, from local orgine (HD stands for Huisduinen, which is a small village within the Den Helder region).

The Gulf Eskimo is one of the vessels that supply the ships with fuel. A few weeks ago her bigger sister was posted in this group aswell (I think by max Holland), she brings the fuel from Rotterdam to Den Helder where it´s stored in a big holding tank.

When I read "Boeier" a thought of a total other sort of ship, but now I see
its the name of the ship;-)

I admit the name of the picture/ship is a little confusing. I prefer the
older Boeiers. :)
