Hi Willem,

Nice series. Have they found what caused the ship to capsize?

Regards,
Tuppence

Nice series Willem,

will they restore the ship to sailing condition, or is it a total loss and
will they scrap it?

Regards,

Jeroen

As far as I know, yes.
The company decided to restore the vessel when they start the salvage, if
this is still so today I don't know, but I believe they will do it.

Greets,
Willem

I don't know about this, the crew had al the time to abandon the ship, it
took some time before he capsized. I don't believe it's the loading alone,
there must be a other reason, or a combination of events.

Greets
Willem

Keep an eye on this site for updates: http://www.cargolaw.com/index.html
They have photos and add reports as they come to hand. It is a very
interesting site for shipping disasters.

Very good site indeed. Today they have some Chilean Naval pictures of the
sinking of the MV Explorer in Antartica and rescue of the survivors.
