I tried to respond to the photo of the "Spirit of Vancouver Island Active
Pass BC 2007" but was unable as the address is 'newsgroups' instead of alt.binaries.pictures.tall-ships Maybe it's something to do with Canada. Anyway, here's a map of where Active Pass is, between Mayne and Galiano Islands. It's a lovely place, you just don't want to be in Active Pass on a little boat when those big ferrys go through! |

Follow ups need to go to the newsroup to which the images are sent - or to my email Quite often you can see whales and/or eagles at Active Pass too.
