There's also a strange gizmo on thecabin that ends in the yellow pipe.
I don't have any idea on her work either. Here is a close-up picture.

Although . . .
she seemed to be in convoy with the next boat I'm going to post, North
Star, which also seems to have some unusual gear and was towing a
dinghy.
