Here's an image of the launch of the ship American Astronaut at Sun
Shipbuilding & Dry Dock Co., Chester, PA in 1969. This is a copy that was
handed out to employees. I believe that I've previously posted one of my dad's
pictures from this launch.

Wikipedia says it was scrapped in 2002.

Yeah. I was pretty suprised when I found this in a box of family photos this
past weekend, when we moved my 90 year old mother out of the (now former, my
sister died several years ago) brother-in-law's, and into her own appartment.

He's still alive too.
