Through the C & D Canal on a pipeline tow they have a front tug towing and a rear "tail" boat making sure the pipe doesn't go sideways . But I have never seen a side boat like POPS is here . I just looked at the C&D and it is quite a bit straighter than the Cape Cod Canal. I wonder if Pops was there just-in-case due to the curves? Whatever the reason, it was a nice day to be on the water. Bob |
