Paul Thanks, I don't know if you remember when she was sunk in the C & P canal when she hit a barge at nite. Both the capt and his daughter were ok. I meant to add that she was hauled out by a crane and I never heard if intentions were good to restore her. She looked pretty good when she came to the surface and placed on a barge, by a big crane. I heard she had a hole in the other side but never heard much again. I have a picture of her before the accident, under sale, with topsails and all . She had been completely rebuilt from the original 1911 Hereoff, BB Crowninshield plans. |
