I few years ago I sold a canoe to a guy who collected sailing canoes. He
planned to start a musuem of some kind in Leeuwarden, but I don;t know if
he succeeded. I traced these pictures in our families archives for him.

I've never sailed such a canoe, but according to my parents in law they
were quite common during the 60's in the Netherlands. Usually the first
start of a watersports career.

Probably the ocean is not a good place to sail a canoe. More likely a
closed lake or such. Just a hunch.
