I have for sale "The Offical Book Of Operation Sail, 1986" by Charles
Flowers.
The edition contains 128 pages including 99 photographs, 76 of them in full
color, the book provides a permanent and official record of Operation Sail
1986.

"The parade of Tall Ships on July 4, 1986, was the greatest armada ever
assembled-an awsome homage to a great nation. From the air, one could see
some 40,000 boats, but from sea level the view was more like a marine
painting by J.M.W. Turner, as the grand old vessels made their stately
progress through the sun-spangled mist thrown up by the fire boats. On;ly
30-odd Tall Ships remain today, stirring relics of the great age of sail,
and 23 of them arrived for this occasion, some having crossed all the way
